Honoring BIB STILLWELL OAM

Bib Stillwell, motor dealer, racing driver and businessman. Born Bermar Sellars Stillwell in 1927 to Bertie and Marian Stillwell, Bib was educated at Trinity Grammer, Scotch College and RMIT.

Stillwell started motor racing with an MG TC in 1947 at Ballarat Airport before opening a motor garage, servicing and selling MG, Morris and Jaguars..

Motor racing continued through the 1950s and 60s including running an Austin Healy in the 1953 Grand Prix. He won the Australian Driver’s Championship in 1962, 1963, 1964 and 1965.
